Sunday Cycle & Beginners Cycle Sunday 20th July
Carn Wheelers are committed to encouraging people who are new to cycling and want to get out there for exercise to improve their health and fitness. To this end we will have a beginners cycle leaving Maghera leisure centre at 8.00am just behind the main group, we aim to cycle at a speed and distance to suit the ability of those who arrive on the day.
All beginners will be welcomed by the friendliest cycling club, the people will encourage you to reach your full potential. We do however expect you to have a roadworthy bike which needs to be in good mechanical order, dress appropriately for the weather conditions, carry a water bottle and snacks, a helmet is compulsory and for everyone's safety we expect you to obey the rules of the public highway.
Please note registration with our club is expected after one month of introductory rides.
