Planned Cycle for 1st June
According to the schedule (http://carnwheelers.co.uk/news/details/?id=933),
this Sunday is the last weekend training sessions for the Wicklow 200
boys, and it is very much a wind-down
compared to the last two weeks. We will
head to Greencastle, the Plum and home again,
a distance of 60 miles. We would
hope that as many as possible non-Wicklow ones can join us.
A few of the Wicklow team did this route a couple of months
ago and discovered a cute wee café in Plumbridge, and we promised each other that one day we
would return. So, our intention would be to stop off at this café
for a quick cuppa/scone/biscuit before taking the road home. If you are thinking of coming, please let
either Barney-07989400672 or Adrian-07903532763
know asap so that we can let the café chef know how big a kettle they need to
boil. NB, you pay for your own tea!
NB, for those not wanting to go to the Plum, there will still
be a Sunday cycle and an alternative (shorter) route can be considered.
